Leverage Lines – Step Up Your Climate Action
- Date: 18 June
- Time: 17:00 - 18:30
- Location: Atrium, City Hall The Hague

Part of The Hague Climate Pavilion’s “Toolkit in Action” series, this workshop invites you to explore new ways of connecting, sharing, and acting on the climate crisis.
We’ll use art, movement, and playful reflection to map how each of us relates to the world around us—and where we might spark change together.
Inspired by the systems thinking of Donella Meadows, we’ll look at “leverage points”—small actions and mindset shifts that can ripple out to make a real difference.
You’ll walk along lines, share stories, and discover where your personal power lies in the bigger picture. It’s an open, inclusive space to experiment, exchange ideas, and find the actions that feel right for you.
If you’re curious about climate action, want to try something new, and meet others on the same journey, we hope you’ll join us.
The session will be in English (with Dutch translation and materials available).
Facilitated by:
Laura de Franchis (The Alternatives Factory) and Gregg Hone (Gregg the Artivist).
You’ll leave with:
- A clearer sense of your own relationship to the climate crisis—how you feel and how you act
- An introduction to 12 leverage points for change
- A personal starting point for meaningful climate action
After this event, you are very welcome to join us at the Just Peace Movie Night for the screening of YUMI: The Whole World at the Central Library at 18.45. YUMI: The Whole World powerful film about courage, climate justice, and determination, tells the incredible story of three inspiring law students, Solomon, Vishal, and Romabeth, who set out on an amazing journey from the University of the South Pacific to bring climate change before the world's highest court through the United Nations.
