Just Peace Festival

From 12 June to 26 June, The Hague turns into an open forum: Just Peace Festival is a platform where everyone has a voice in shaping a more just, peaceful and equitable future.

We believe that peace is not only determined at negotiating tables, but rather takes shape within society.

Why Just Peace Festival?

In a world where conflicts and wars are governed by leadership from above, the Just Peace Festival seeks an alternative: we believe that peace is not only determined at negotiating tables, but is shaped by society. That is why we invite citizens, thinkers, doers and artists to think together about alternative paths to peace.

The Just Peace Festival is an open platform, where dialogue, art, and activism come together to explore new approaches for peace. This festival is the highlight of the Road to Summit program in The Hague.

As the city prepares to host the 2025 NATO Summit, the festival offers a timely opportunity to reflect on NATO's role in global security and explore alternative pathways for lasting peace.

Expect interactive sessions, workshops, exhibitions, performances, film nights, lectures and much more!

Road to Summit is a city-wide programme launched by the City of The Hague in January. It brings together a diverse range of activities and events that spotlight peace and justice leading up to the NATO Summit in The Hague in June.

If you are planning to organize an event during this period, we would love to feature it – your contributions are always welcome! Submit your activity via this form and download Road to Summit Toolkit to show you're part of this!
